I am loving the natural dewy look right now. It's so hard in the winter to not load on 5lbs of makeup and product but I think that's one of the best things you can do for your skin...no one wants to look like they're wearing a mask. 

On a side note the shots from Rag&Bone are exactly what I mean! Both Candace and Miranda look so stunning with the bare minimum (and I love that all the photos were shot by friends/boyfriends/husbands, it adds such a new level to them.)

For those of you who didn't know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! My mom is a breast cancer survivor so this is an important time for me to be thankful and spread awareness; I usually do a 'Making Strides Against Breast Cancer' walk with my mom and sister but had to miss it this year because of school, so I thought it was only appropriate for a pink-themed post...complete with my favorite clip from "Funny Face" (1957) starring the lovely Audrey Hepburn. Everything about this look is amazing but my favorite attributes are the cat-eye sunnies and the gold eyebrows, even if they were just for the Fendi show...Candice Swanepoel kills it always!

Ideal outfit. The way the slouchiness mixes with the put-together feel of the jacket and leather shorts, but then also the unexpected details like the neon orange clutch and zipper additions. Absolutely nailed it.

I love fall so much, even more than summer, which most people find appalling. I would just so much rather wear layers and add on than have to skimp down to nothing; I mean, don't get me wrong, I adore summer too, but once fall is here I'm ready for it. The shorts-on-bottom/heavy-on-top combo has always been a favorite of mine, and I've been missing the wear and tear of my cigarette pants (the pants in the first photo would be on my wishlist if I could only find the link to them). But by far, sweaters are the highlight. There's just something about finding the perfect slouchy, cozy sweater that you can wear with anything in your closet and look immediately perfect. That is bliss; that, and the insane amount of pumpkin spice lattes I consume during this season.
